Onboarding, Learning & Development Leader – Minneapolis

Summary

The Onboarding, Learning & Development Leader creates and facilitates Learning & Development content, training, and activities including: Facilitating on-boarding and orientation of new Binders, managing training and leadership development programs, high-potential programs, new leader development, and other programs needed to ensure training is aligned with the needs of the business and supports the growth and key objectives of Bind. The Learning & Development Lead will collaborate with department leaders to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities to enhance employee performance through additional training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive L&D operations organization. This includes completing a full-scale assessment to analyze all operations and build programs as needed to support the rapid growth of Bind.
  • Lead all new Binder Orientation and On-Boarding activities from pre-hire through first six months and enhance existing programs to create an experience that compliments the culture of bind.
  • Manages on-boarding checklists, 30-60-90-day pulse check-ins and 6-month celebrations for new Binders.
  • Ensure end-to-end processes are fully documented with strong performance and risk controls, effective measurement and monitoring and effective partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitates and or organizes Lunch and Learn programs through all available platforms in a manner that is both engaging and effective.
  • Works with Chief People Officer to develop 6, 12, 18, 24-month roadmap to ensure training curriculum is aligned with growth and other relevant targets for bind.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities to enhance employee performance through additional training
  • Review, maintain, and update training facilitation and materials. Ensure materials are continuously updated and align with business needs and regulations.
  • Plan, prioritize and identify training needs for new projects, initiatives, and change, including preparation of communication tools.
  • Develop process measurements and reporting to measure ROI on program facilitation
  • Develop recommendations for process enhancements to address performance improvement and risk management opportunities
  • Supports the People and Culture function by implementing programs to help improve the Bind new hire experience.
  • Assess training outcomes, identify, and implement improvements; develop reporting for measurement of training needs and results through surveys, evaluation forms, interviews with staff, or consultations with leadership staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR work experience.
  • At least ten years of Learning & Development experience Working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills and a proven capability to present complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to a variety of audiences, including the highest level of the enterprise.
  • Ability to build communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to Identify and prioritize learning needs in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to influence without authority and get buy-in from all levels of the organization on learning & development programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Health Insurance/Heath Care industry experience strongly preferred
  • Agile, ready to change direction on the fly
  • Startup experience
  • Working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
