Provider Operations Analyst - Minneapolis

Summary
Our Provider team is growing! Our Provider Operations Analyst will be highly skilled, motivated, and experienced in provider network configuration. This role will be responsible installation and administration of provider data. Responsibilities will also include auditing provider data and or contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards. The Provider Operations Analyst will partner with technology, claims operations and plan design to ensure the Provider Network configuration aligns with the benefit plan. You will develop expertise in network data, the Bind benefit plan and how to translate this data into an accurate claim adjudication process.

Responsibilities
• Timely and accurate loading of provider data into bind databases
• Maintenance of provider data, as changes occur to ensure for accuracy for claims processing financial utilization and network reporting
• Partner with team members to develop and enhance provider data management solution to maintain and improve provider data quality using innovative methods
• Develop operational processes and document policies and procedures around provider data management, provider data issue resolution, and provider service

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in technology, business management, healthcare, or related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience supporting payer operations, preferably working directly with claims processing systems and provider data
• Advanced Excel and intermediate SQL
• Experience working in payer operations with an understanding of data requirements for successful operating workflow (eligibility requests, claims submission, claims payment, etc.)
• Experience with building provider demographic and/or reimbursement configurations (payment contracts, fee schedules, networks)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a highly dynamic environment, strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrates skills at analyzing trends and creating action plans to solve to the root.
• Communicate effectively, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service support skills

Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with healthcare EDI transactions used to transmit information to and from providers (270/271, 837/835)
• Ability to identify key opportunities for action in an innovating environment that includes ambiguity and change
• Deep understanding of healthcare industry constituents and their needs
• Knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment with HIPAA requirements
