Network Strategist

Summary
Bind is actively seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced individual to orchestrate the delivery of major new capabilities for optimal provider networks within an innovative new health insurance product in our newly created Network Strategist opening. Much of this work will relate to initiatives that span many teams, requiring this position to work cross-functionally to understand business needs and priorities, and develop corresponding requirements, analyze data, work with vendors, capture scenarios, and validate solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical and plan design teams in the identification and development of service/episode definitions that create the infrastructure for search and analytic capabilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine roadmap and timing of new pricing methodologies and the coverages for which new and existing pricing methodologies will be applied
  • Collaborate with data science and network actuarial teams to enhance pricing automation that allows for the dynamic reflection of provider value within the cost share displayed to members
  • Develop methods for evaluating the sourcing of unique service offerings and payment arrangements that allow Bind to offer one of a kind benefits to the market
  • Identify capabilities that highlight Bind's unique value proposition in support of sales and network contracting efforts
  • Work with network operations team to implement and manage products and services to deliver on the roadmap
  • Work with product team to optimize the capabilities for highlighting provider value propositions and driving member engagement in decisions on treatment path and provider selection

 

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, or a healthcare field;
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience;
  • 2 + years of experience with administrative healthcare data (e.g. claims, enrollment)
  • Ability to identify key opportunities for action in an innovating environment that includes ambiguity and change
  • Communicate effectively, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a highly dynamic environment, strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to distill multiple concepts to prioritize and define requirements for system and other capabilities development
  • Experience with project and/or product management and lifecycles

 

Preferred 

  • MHA or MBA preferred
  • Deep understanding of health care industry constituents and their needs
  • Ability to distill multiple concepts to prioritize and define requirements for system and other capabilities development
  • Deep understanding of health care industry concepts (encounters, episodes, members, cost of care, benefit administration, etc.)
  • Experience with healthcare codes
  • Experience with project and/or product management and lifecycles
  • Working knowledge of clinical data domains
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment with HIPAA requirements
